Private and Shared Transfers from Punta Cana Airport (PUJ)

Private transfer
The vehicle and driver are reserved for your group, and you go straight to your hotel without stops. Choose the vehicle by group size and luggage:
- Toyota Sienna: up to 5 passengers and 5 bags
- Hyundai H-1: up to 7 passengers and 7 bags
- Toyota Hiace: up to 13 passengers and 13 bags
- Mercedes Sprinter: up to 16 passengers and 16 bags
Free child seats on request. Add them when you book.
Shared shuttle
A shared shuttle costs $15–25 per person, depending on your resort zone. You share the van with other travelers and stop at their hotels, so the ride takes longer. For three or more people, a private transfer usually costs about the same per person and goes direct.
Prices and Travel Times from Punta Cana Airport
Prices are one way, per vehicle, for up to 5 passengers. Travel times are estimates and depend on traffic and your exact hotel.
- Cap Cana: $40, about 15 minutes
- Bávaro and Punta Cana resorts: $40, about 20–40 minutes
- Uvero Alto: $65, about 40–50 minutes
- Bayahíbe and La Romana: $129, about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes
- Playa Esmeralda near Miches: $149, about 1.5 to 2 hours
Round-Trip Transfers from Punta Cana Airport
Book your arrival and your return to the airport in one reservation. In the booking form, choose Roundtrip, enter your arrival flight, then add your return date and pickup time. Both rides are confirmed together, so you don't need to arrange transport at the end of your stay.
- Bávaro, Punta Cana or Cap Cana: $79 round trip per vehicle for up to 5 passengers in a Toyota Sienna ($40 one way)
- VIP transfer: $169 round trip for up to 5 passengers ($100 one way)
For other destinations and for larger vans and minibuses, the round-trip price appears when you select your hotel and vehicle. You choose the return pickup time yourself, so leave enough time to reach the airport and check in for your flight.

What Happens When You Land at PUJ
- Your driver checks your flight status and adjusts the pickup if you land early or late.
- After immigration and customs, look for your driver at the meeting point holding a sign with your name.
- Your driver helps with your luggage and takes you to your hotel.

Pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or PayPal, or pay your driver in cash. Cancel more than 24 hours before pickup for a full refund. If you cancel within 15 hours of pickup, you receive a 60% refund.
